shaped by a steeply sloping garden.

Designed as a dedicated workspace at the end of a steeply sloping garden, the building needed to make careful use of the available level ground while sitting comfortably within its setting. A simple, low-profile form and stepped rear wall respond to the site, with the openings positioned to bring in natural light while maintaining privacy.
